Frances Gee Lanier passed on May 17th. Born September 24, 1927 in Tampa Florida, she was a charter member of the Tampa chapter of the American Society of Women Accountants. She was employed as an accountant for Arthur & Anne Williams for 49 years, retiring December 31, 2003. Survived by loving husband William "Blackie" Lanier; sons Bill, Greg and Mark; grandchildren Wendi, Jason, Doug & Krista; great-grandchildren Jordin, Gage & Branden; and many loving friends. Frances was a member of the VFW ladies auxiliary.A funeral service will be held at Hodges Family Funeral Home 301 chapel on Thursday, May 21st at 3:30pm, with visitation half an hour prior at 3:00pm. Frances will be interred at Chapel Hill Gardens cemetery.
