Obituary

September 15, 2015, was not a good day in our family. The beacon of light that has guided our lives for our entire existence was extinguished that day. Our loving Mother, Grandmother, and Oma, Frances Frazier, wrote the final sentence in her Book of Life. She was one of the good mothers. The kind you never want to see ever leave. But Heaven thought her job here was complete. She was always a guiding beacon to the members of her family. She was always there to listen to whatever you had to say, to hear all of your life's challenges and to give motherly advice to anyone that would listen, yet knowing at the same time, that there are some lessons you just have to learn on your own. Whenever she was asked what her finest achievement in life iswhat she wanted to be remembered for the most, she would always proudly respond, "My family!!" Her family was everything to her, her crowning achievement...and she was everything to her family. At 19 years of age, she contracted polio. During her time of treatment, she was told she would never walk again. Frances was determined to prove the doctors wrong and indeed and after months and months of hospital and rehab, she did walk again albeit, with crutches and other medical aids...but she walked; she was determined that polio would not hold her down as she continued to hold jobs, raise her children, go on extended vacations and even once went for a motorcycle ride with her son! Sadly, she wasn't able to dance anymore, or run again and even some of the most simplest of tasks, like going up and down flights of stairs, holding down a job, carrying bags of groceries, while caring for her two small kids became a challenge. She was so determined to prove to her family that once you set your mind to something, you can accomplish anything, which she always did. With her passing, all of us in the family and her friends know that by the grace of God, she is released from her physical limitations and challenges that were placed on her here on earth. Frances legacy is that she was a loving Mother to Donald (Barbara) Humes, Cheryl (Tony) Lesko; a devoted Grandma to: Christopher Noel, Linda (Jon) Murbach, Charles (Aubrey) Humes; Step-Grandchildren: Piper Hehir and Kerri (Tim) Jewell; and a caring Oma to: Brian and Katherine Murbach, Kara and Tammy Jewell and Madison and Allia Hehir. God Bless you Mama, Grandma, Oma and Friend. You are and always will be loved and missed so very, very much. You've earned your place in Heaven where we know you will run with the wind and dance like you did when you were little girl!!!
