Jones, Forrest W., 78, of San Antonio, FL, passed away on July 16, 2014, at Gulfside Hospice Center at Bayfront Health Dade City. Forrest was born September 19, 1935, in Lambert, OK, to Harry Jones and Thelma (Sawyer) Jones. Forrest is survived by his wife Edith (McClung) Jones. They were wed on February 19, 1955, and together raised three children, Karl Jones, Joel Jones and Norma Myers, who added eleven grandchildren to their family line. Also, survived by his sisters Bernice Andrews and Carolyn Pryor. Forrest moved to San Antonio, FL from Wichita, KS where he lived and worked till he retired following a long and rewarding career as a Customer Engineer for IBM and an Operations Manager for Boeing Computer Services. Funeral services for Forrest will be held at 11am on Saturday, July 19, at Hodges Family Funeral Home 301 chapel in Dade City, with visitation held from 9am to the hour of service at the funeral home. No flowers or gifts are necessary, as God has provided all that is required.
