UHL, Fern (Feagan), age 102, beloved wife of the late Arnold, passed away on May 16, 2019 in Zephyrhills, FL. She was one of nine children; her two surviving brothers reside in Texas. She was the loving mother of Barbara (Bruno) Chiapparo, David, and Daniel (Margery) Uhl. She was the proud grandmother of five and great-grandmother of nine. Fern was a long-time member of The Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Zephyrhills. Funeral services were held on May 20 at Hodges Family Funeral Home in Zephryhills, and she was laid to rest next to Arnold in Chapel Hill Gardens Cemetery in Dade City. Fern worked for over 30 years at the Caro State Hospital in Caro, MI. There, through their training program, she achieved her dream of becoming a Licensed Psychiatric Practical Nurse, and eventually became a nursing supervisor. She and Arnold retired to Florida from Michigan in 1974, and enjoyed their life together in Zephyrhills until his passing in 1998. From that time until her death, she shared a home in Zephyrhills with her son, David.
