Faye Wilson Brannon, 85, passed away on June 16, 2016. She was the only child born in Akron, OH to Doin and Stella Wilson. Faye graduated from North High School in Akron and soon married Riley L. Brannon. After her husband graduated from college they transferred to Georgia spending 35 years in Atlanta area, Decatur, Smyrna and Powder Springs. Upon retirement the couple moved to Palm Bay Florida where they enjoyed 26 years together until they moved to Wesley Chapel, Fl. Faye has spent her life being a loving, devoted wife and mother. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Riley L. Brannon; 2 children, Cheryl (Tal) Denny of Wesley Chapel, FL and Wayne (Carolyn) Brannon of Melbourne; 1 granddaughter and 3 great granddaughters. Mrs. Brannon has been a long time member of the Church of the Nazarene in Ohio, Georgia and Florida. She was a charter member of the Smyrna Church of the Nazarene. Currently, she attended Victorious Life Church in Wesley Chapel. Visitation be 10-11 AM Wednesday, June 22nd at Hodges Funeral Home, Zephyrhills with a 11 AM service to follow. Interment will be 2 PM at Garden of Memories Memorial Park, Tampa, Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jesus Film or to Gulfside Hospice.
