Faye Peace Ashburn, beloved mother and friend, passed away peacefully on August 1st, 2024, in Tampa, Florida. Born on January 17th, 1944 in Anniston, Alabama, Faye lived a fulfilling life dedicated to her family, faith, and love for animals.
After graduating from Pasco High School in Dade City, FL, Faye pursued a career as a caterer before becoming a Medical Administrator, where she touched the lives of countless patients and colleagues. In addition to her professional work, Faye was known for her artistic talents and was a member of the Heritage Arts Association. She also had a passion for reading.
Faye is survived by her loving children, Lynn Tinsley (James) Nathe and Diane Tinsley (Jospeh) Kirby; siblings, James (Jean) Clark and Ronald (Yvonne) Peace; sister-in-law, Lisa; gran-fur babies, Scooter Nathe, Maya Nathe, and Amelia Egghart Kirby; and many nieces and nephews and their families.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward Peace and Claudia Pruitt; and siblings, Rachel Martin, William Ballenger, Diane Barnett, and Albert Gatton II.
A visitation is being held on Saturday, August 10, 2024, from 12-1 pm at San Antonio Community Church, 31251 County Road 52, San Antonio, FL 33576, with a service immediately to follow. An interment ceremony will take place after the service at Chapel Hill Gardens, 11531 US Hwy 301, Dade City, FL 33525. A meal will be provided after the service, for those who wish not to attend the brief interment ceremony, please stay at the church for the meal and fellowship. The family will return after the interment.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the San Antonio Community Church or the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.
Faye will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in peace.
