Gardner, Evah A. 95, of Zephyrhills, FL passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015 under the care of HPH Hospice. She was born April 5, 1919 in Cass, IN to William P. & Bertha L. Pirtle Thompson and moved to Zephyrhills 50 years ago from Michigan. She is survived by her daughter: Sondra Nordin (Richard) of Alden, MI; her brother: William Thompson of Union City, TN; 3 grandchildren: Lorrie Pettit (John) of Kentwood, MI, Bruce Nordin (Heide) of Belmont, MI, Kent Nordin (Jill) of Gaylord, MI; 4 great grandchildren: Ali, Ty, Gabrielle 4 nieces: Cynthia McWaters (Donnie) of Cerulean, KY, Deborah Wiist (Lyle) of Foley, AL, Rebecca Jimenez of Davison, MI, Pamela Sevier (Tony) of Vassar, MI; and 1 nephew: Delmus Holdson of Sun City, AZ. Funeral services will be held 5pm Saturday, March 21, 2015 at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in her memory to HPH Hospice. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens.
