Eva Margaret Shilliday Hill passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 26, 2025. She was born on September 6, 1937, in Ravenna, Ohio, to Anna and Lawrence Shilliday of Edinburg, Ohio.

Eva graduated from Southeast High School in 1955 and attended Kent State University for two years before transferring to the University of Miami, where she earned her degree in 1959. She taught for eight years at Vineland Elementary School in South Miami, Florida.

On August 7, 1965, she married her beloved partner of over 60 years, William Joseph Hill. She is survived by two sons, Joseph Scott Hill (Jennifer) of Calhoun, Georgia, and John Stewart Hill (Marco) of Santa Fe, New Mexico; and two grandsons, Ryan Michael Hill of Calhoun, Georgia and Jarrett Thomas Hill of Richmond, Virginia.

A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church in Dade City, Florida on November 7, 2025 at 2pm. As a tribute to her mom, Eva asked that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
