Quillen, Eugene "Gene" Russell, Jr, age 80 of Zephyrhills, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, August 12, 2020. Gene was born on December 18, 1939 in Dayton, Ohio and moved to Florida in 1971 where he eventually settled in Zephyrhills in 1976. Gene was an avid reader who enjoyed riding motorcycles, hiking, traveling, gardening, yelling at the Bengals, and spending time with his family and friends. He lived an adventurous life that spanned all walks of life allowing him to leave an amazing mark on this world and touch the hearts of all he met. He was the heart of the family, loved fearlessly, laughed often, and will be missed beyond words we should all be so blessed. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Jess and Mary Quillen, his brother, Doug Quillen, and his daughter, Sherry Bachmann. He is survived by his wife Karen, 3 sons Chris (Sara Deem Johnson), Shawn and wife Apryl, Jef and wife Ashley Quillen, and daughter Marsha Webner and husband Jack. Grandchildren Erika Blackburn (Tommy Ward), Brooke Blackburn, Lauren Patterson and husband Andrew, Hunter Bachmann, Reise Quillen, Trase Quillen, Connor Webner, Hannah Webner, Zane Quillen, Mia Quillen, Rylan Quillen (and sister). Great grandchildren Ryleigh, Aubrielle, Jaxon, Andrew, Emma, Lily, and numerous nephews & nieces, other relatives, and many friends. The family will be accepting visitors on Saturday, August 22 from 2 4 PM at Hodges Funeral Home in Dade City. Family Gathering
