Esther L. Miller, age 92, formerly of Amanda, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2015 in Florida. Born September 28, 1922 in Lancaster, OH. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Freda Bowman. She is survived by her 3 children, Roberta (James) Mac Ewen Nicholson of Florida, Ralph (Denise) Miller of Colorado and Carol (Robert) Gilmore of Lancaster. Granddaughters Katie Bishop, Jenny Powell, Denise Kilbarger and Amy Russell. Great grandchildren Morgan Bishop, Jordan Bishop, Lauren Powell, Brandon Kilbarger, Kaylene Kilbarger, Lane Stamp and Jaxon Russell. Half sisters Sue Chilcote and Donna Lama. Half brothers Jerry Bowman and John Bowman and very dear friends Bob and Martha Johnson of Circleville, OH. Esther is preceded in death by her husband Richard and brother Kenneth. A memorial service will be held at the Oakland United Methodist Church in Oakland, OH on August 30, 2015 at 5:00 pm with Pastor Dave Jackson officiating.
