Estelle Geiger 98, of Kathleen, FL, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 22026, at her home. She was born December 23, 1927, in Polk County, FL, to James B. & Zora Williams Chauncey and was a longtime resident of this area. She worked for many years at the Lykes Pasco Packing Company in Dade City and was a member of the Richland Baptist Church. 

Estelle is survived by her children: Sarah Newsome and her husband Wayne, Morris Geiger and his wife Brenda; 2 grandsons: Bobby (Kim) Geiger, and Jason Geiger; 3 great grandchildren: Delanie (Dustin) Bartley, Emilie Geiger, Makenzie Geiger; 1 great great granddaughter Willow Bartley; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Geiger, her mother Zora Chauncey, and 4 siblings: Valora & Clarence Geiger, Margaret & Berlie Chauncey, Christine & Billy Starling, Thelma & Lamar Chauncey. 

Funeral services will be held 2pm Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City. The family will receive friends for viewing one hour prior to service time (1pm - 2pm) at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens. Flowers will be gratefully accepted, or those that wish may make donations in her memory to a charity of your choice.
