Ernest Wright Williamson Jr, 89, of Wesley Chapel passed away June 5, 2021. He was born June 2, 1932, in Tampa, Florida to Ernest Sr. and Carolyn Williamson. Ernest was a veteran, serving in the United States Navy. He had started working with General Telephone Company in 1955. He retired in 1994, after a 39-year career. Ernest is preceded in death by Son: David Wayne Williamson; Son-in- law: Patrick; Grandchild: Sharon Marle; and great grandchild: Trista Ann. He is survived by his wife of 66 years: Roberta Williamson; Children: Patricia Braley, Michael Earl (Manoly) Williamson Sr.; Grandchildren: Christopher Alan Williamson, Rebecca Ann Williamson, Michael Earl Jr., Brandon Wright, Kayla Marie and Latrell Smith; Great Grandchildren: Shawn Patrick (Alison), Anna, Ella, Aiden, Ian, Clayton Michael, and Colin David; His best friend: Oscar Singleton. As well as many loving family and friends. A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Williams Cemetery in San Antonio with military honors officiating.
