Elvin Eugene Clark

Elvin Eugene Clark, 76, of Lakeland, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2025. Born on December 12, 1948, in Bartow, Florida, Elvin spent his life close to the water he loved so dearly. Whether it was fishing at sunrise or simply enjoying the peacefulness of the outdoors, he found his greatest joy by the shore.

Elvin was a devoted husband to Thelma Louise Clark and a proud father to Melissa Hasty and Angela Clark. He is also remembered fondly by his siblings, brother Joe Cox and sister Donna Bell.

Elvin was a cherished grandfather to six grandchildren and a doting great-grandfather to five great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind seven nephews—Melvin Clark, Eugene Clark, Joe Stephens, Joey Cox, Jason Couch, Brian Couch, and Daniel Couch—and one niece, Amanda Peacock, all of whom brought him great pride and joy.

Known for his calm presence, easygoing nature, and deep love for family, Elvin made an impact on all who knew him. His stories, laughter, and time spent on the water will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
