SEWELL, Elvia L. 90 of Easton, PA and formerly of the Dade City area died Sunday, May 29, 2016 in Pennsylvania. She was born in Tennessee to Fred and Lena (Harding) Corvin. Elvia lived in the Dade City area from 1970 until 2001, where she worked as a Bakery & Deli clerk for the longest time. She was a hard working woman still at the age of 80 and loved to serve others. In 2001 she moved to live with her daughter Sherri & son-in-law Ron Houghton in Texas, and most recently having moved to Pennsylvania. She touched so many peoples lives in many different states and had many friends and extended family that all adored her and appreciated everything she always did. She was preceded in death by her husband William Early Sewell and a son Richard Lee Sewell. Elvia was a great Mother to Randy (Charla) of Prattville, AL and Sherri (Ron) Houghton of Easton, PA, Grandma Nanny to Megan Sewell, Connor, Spencer and Jared Houghton. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday, June 2nd and again on Friday, June 3rd from 2:00 pm until service time 3:00pm at the 5th Street Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home. Elvia will be laid to rest at Floral Memory Gardens. Visitation
