Ellen W. Gilmore, 85 of Wesley Chapel beloved wife of Frank Gilmore Sr. passed away November 22, 2022. Formally of East Hampton, CT., born January 27, 1937, in Presque Isle Maine. She was the daughter of the late Clement and Velva (Sears) Watson. Ellen was one of eleven children. Ellen married Frank Gilmore in Manchester, CT in 1960. They lived in Manchester, CT before moving to East Hampton CT to raise their family. Ellen was retired as a Dental Hygienist of over 25 years. Ellen moved to Wesley Chapel, FL in 1993, with her husband Frank, after purchasing Quail Run RV Resort, with her brother Clem (deceased) and Ann Watson. Along with her husband Frank of 62 years, she is survived by her three children Ruth Checko (Frank), Frank Gilmore Jr., (Donna), and Kevin Gilmore. She is also survived by her three beloved grandchildren, Brittany Plummer, Kyle Gilmore (Tori), and Elizabeth Adams, (Ryan), two great-grandchildren, Cortland Adams, and Kyle Gilmore Jr., and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Hodge Family Funeral Home, 11441 US Highway 301, Dade City, FL, on Wednesday, November 30th from 11:00am-12:00pm followed by a service at 12:00pm. Entombment will take place at Chapel Hill Gardens following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chapters Health Hospice Care, 12260 Cortez Blvd., Brooksville, FL, 34613.
