Elizabeth Lingerfelt, lovingly known as "Mama Liz", "Tizzy", and "Ms. Liz" to those who she cared for dearly. Passed away on June 19th, 2025 at 6:37pm in the arms of her daughter, in Zephyrhills,FL.

She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on August 17th, 1961. She dedicated her time to her work at the University of South Florida, working passionately for families within audiology and speech pathology. Elizabeth loved animals, she lovingly referenced her "grand-fur babies" every time she would see her daughter most notably "Beanie" and "Daddy". Not only did she love her "fur babies" but she loved her nephews and niece who bestowed the nickname "Mama Liz" to her. She lived in Zephyrhills, Florida for over 40 years and will be laid to rest in Dade City, Florida at Hodges Funeral Home on June 27th, 2025 at 1:00pm.

She is survived by her sister Melissa Dukes, Brother in-law Joe Dukes, Sister in-law Ronda Rumbaugh, Daughter Ramey Lingerfelt.  Nephews - William, Phillip, Frankie, Garrison and her niece Mindi. Elizabeth has a beautiful extended family as well: Roy, Louann, Nick, Rachel, Anne, Rod, Zaida, Vivian, Brenda, Gina, Joy, and Linda. Elizabeth's brother Arthur P Joiner, Predeceased her in September of 2022.
