Elizabeth Ann Chappell 84 years of age passed on Saturday, February 19,2022 in Florida. Elizabeth was born in Nauvoo, Alabama and was proud to be a coal miners daughter. She was equally proud to be from Alabama and was never shy to share a "Roll Tide" with everyone.

Elizabeth was a devoted wife to the absolute love of her life Howard Chappell, Jr., who has been patiently awaiting her return home. Howard shared the same unconditional love for her and he is finally at peace with Elizabeth at home. Our comfort is in knowing these soulmates are together once again.

Elizabeth was also an exceptional mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. The unconditional love for her family and friends was undeniable.

Elizabeth was blessed to have found and shared the love of our Lord earlier in her life. She was very blessed and lived her life accordingly. She was honest, caring and loving. Elizabeth enjoyed gardening, walking on the beach and spending time with her family.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her Parents-Marvin and Estee Smith; Sister-Edith Alsbrooks; Brother-Ted Smith; and her husband of 53 years Howard Chappell, Jr.

She is survived by her children, Daughters-Leticia Smith and Beth Batchelor and Son-Paul Bryant Chappell. Elizabeth has 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

The family will welcome friends at 10 am, on Monday, February 28, 2022. Service will be held at 11 am at Collins- Burke Funeral Home in Jasper.
