Elissa Helena Bahr

Elissa Helena Bahr, lovingly known as Lee, passed away December 8, 2024, at the age of 87. She left on earth many, many loved ones including her devoted husband of 69 years, Newell "Newt" Bahr.

Elissa was born to George Ehren and Santa Temperino Ehren in 1937 in Queens, NY. She was raised alongside her brother Joel, and sisters Claudette, Leslie, and Deborah (Debbie). After a move to Upstate New York, Lee met Newt They married and raised 6 children, The family moved to Florida in 1969, and made Zephyrhills their home.

Lee will be lovingly remembered and missed by her husband Newt, son Barry (Betty) Bahr and children Crystal, Rachel, Gabriel, and Michael, son Randy (Suzanne) and children Eric and Spenser, son Chris (Jeanie) and children Lauren, Staci, and Emily, daughter Sheryl (Brent) Nevil and children Ron, Kelli, Mark, Nick, Doug, Mary, Natalie, Clare, Colt, and Coley, and daughter Carrie Bahr and children Kenten and Jordan.

She also leaves behind her sister Leslie and sister Debbie, and best friend Pat Seidel, several granddaughters and grandsons in law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws. Lee will be mourned by her great grandchildren Clementine, Eleanora, Larkin, Kaydence, Isla, Addy, Kaylie, Emy, Bryce, Wren, Everett, Dawsen, Kal, Palmer, Zaiya, Sage, and Evelyn.

Lee is preceded in death by her daughter Jayne Marie, who we all know she is happy to be with now!

With such a large family tree and a family consisting of both blood ties and bonds formed from the heart, Lee's reach was far and wide and she was cherished deeply by all.

Lee held her most significant accomplishment as raising her 6 children, 19 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren. She loved her family and supported them all in their endeavors.

A memorial service will be held Monday December 16, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Zephyrhills Alliance Church. Those wishing to pay their respects and celebrate her life are welcomed.
