Eleanor Diana Morrison-Collyer, 90, passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2026. She was born on
September 7, 1935, to parents George and Cecil Shaver of Battle Creek, Michigan. Eleanor was the
youngest of 9 siblings.
At age 16, Eleanor married Gene R Morrison on July 17, 1952. They had four children together. They
lived in several cities including the Tampa Bay area until 1976 when they moved to Dade City. Gene
passed away in 1987. Eleanor married Roger Collyer in 2003. Roger passed away in 2017.
Eleanor is survived by her son, Dale Ryan Morrison, Seminole, FL.; and daughter, Lisa Jo Wubbena (Joey),
Dade City, FL.; Step Son Jim Collyer, Sun City West, AZ; 7 grandchildren - Ryan, Rodney, Chad, Lyndsi,
Cori, Kaci, Steven; step-grandchildren - Justin Collyer (Misha) and Jackie Collyer-Bellmer (Mike); followed by 14
great-grandchildren.
Eleanor was predeceased by her parents and 8 siblings; son, Steven A Morrison (1971); Husband Gene R
Morrison (1987); daughter Diana L Shanahan (2017); husband Roger R Collyer (2017).
Eleanor will be remembered for her copious love for her family and friends. She will be deeply missed.
Honoring her request there will not be any formal services. The Family wishes to thank the staff that
cared for her at Rucki center Zephyrhills; Gulfside Hospice. You folks are Awesome.
In lieu of flowers, the Family request a monetary donation in Eleanor's name be made to Gulfside
Hospice, 2061 Collier Parkway, Land O Lakes, FL, 34639 "attention Rucki center''.
