Eleanor Katherine Grudzinski Eleanor (Ellie) Katherine Grudzinski, age 68, of Dade City, Fla.,passed to her eternal reward on Aug 14, 2021. Ellie was born in Brooklyn, New York. Parents, Alexander A. And Dorothy Grudzinski, as well as a sister, Dorothy proceeded her in death. Ellie was single, having devoted much of her adult life to the care of her parents. She was educated in both NY and FL, having completed her education degree and final studies at St. Leo University. Ellie spent her working life as a Special Education Teacher and developed many close and lasting relationships with her students. After retiring Ellie spent much of her time volunteering with the Knights of Columbus Council 10671 Ladies Auxiliary, Zephyrhills Hummel Club, HPH Hospice, and various volunteer ministries at her home parish, St Joseph Catholic Church. Eliie loved to be helping other people, she supported numerous charitable organizations and loved growing plants and vegetables. She is survived by her Brother Al (Sandy), Nephew Chris (Robin), Niece Barbara (Todd), and Grand Daughters Sabrina, Olivia and Isabella. Visitation will be on Friday, Aug 20, 2021 at Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City from 6pm until 7pm followed by a service at 7pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Boys Town USA.
