Elbert Glen Dotson, 84 of Zephyrhills passed away Friday, January 17, 2025 at Gulfside Hospice. He was born February 26, 1940, in Habersham, Tennessee to Levi and Myrtle Dotson. Elbert was united in marriage to Joyce Knox on August 4th 1973, Elbert served in the US navy for 13 years. He had many enjoyments but above all he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Elbert was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Grace Dotson. Survivors include his children, Kevin (Sonjia) Knox, Allen Dotson, Alice Renee Dotson Marcum; grandchildren, Jennifer (Timothy) Briggs, Heather (Javier) Nicholas and Andrea Lynn Marcum; great grandchildren, Hailie, Emerie, Nova, Roman, Beckham, and Bryant. Visitation will take place 11 to 12 Noon Friday, January 24th at Hodges Family Funeral Home, Zephyrhills. A Funeral Service will follow at 12 Noon. A graveside service will take place 1:30 Monday, January 27th at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
