Elba Grandma Rivera leaves behind her beloved two children Eileen and Paul Jr., eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and one great grandchild on the way. Elba was born in Puerto Rico on October 9, 1940. She later moved to New York and married her love and widower Paul Rivera, and began their family. She loved to play the piano and sing, travel, paint, and go shopping. She enjoyed keeping busy baking, sewing, cooking, and furthering her education. She was faithful to her catholic religion, joining the choir and partaking in all the activities she physically could. Elba retired here in Florida and continued to show her amazing inner strength, which carried her to surpass her physical impairments. She accomplished great heights in the community and in the work place becoming a well-known RN (Registered Nurse). Elba passed away early morning May 5, 2016 easing her physical pain and bringing her back into the arms of the Most High. She is loved by family, friends, co-workers, and many others. She will be missed by all who were blessed with her presence. Visitation
