July 23, 1942 – May 30, 2025
Elaine Sebastian (Vozel), 82, passed on to Glory Friday May 30th, 2025 at AdventHealth Connerton. Born on July 23, 1942 in Export, PA to Frank and Francis Vozel (now deceased), and then graduated from Export High School. She went on to meet the love of her life, Ralph Sebastian (now deceased) singing in the choir at Katheryn Kuhlman Evangelist at Stambaugh Auditorium where they married on July 11, 1965. After moving to Struthers, Ohio, she worked at Schwebel's Baking Company and Canfield Manufacturing until she moved to be with her grandkids in Zephyrhills, Florida. She then worked at the Pasco County School Board in Accts Payable until her retirement in 2008.
Survivors include two daughters, Lisa (Scott) Sylvester of Land O Lakes, FL and Jodi (Todd) Mark of Lutz, FL and Son-in-law, Steven Smith of Tampa, FL. Her four grandchildren, whom she adored and attended all of their activities being the loudest one on the sidelines: Kaylin Sylvester (swimming), Jordan (Michaela) Mark (tennis), Jeremy Sylvester (soccer) and Sabrina Smith (flag football). Two brothers: Frank (Sally) Vozel of Bluffton SC, Jack (Debbie) Vozel of Greensburg, PA and a sister, Nancy (Bob) Kosic of Export, PA. Loving in-laws Pat (Garnet) Sebastian of Kettering, Ohio and James (Marge) Sebastian of Canfield, Ohio. Numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter Kerri Sebastian-Smith; father and mother in law, Patsy and Florence Sebastian, brother and sister-in-laws, Sam (Violet) Sebastian, Jeanette (Pat) Petrock, Viola (Mario) Silvestri and Dr Carole Vozel.
She was best known for her love of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, her tireless dedication to her family and her love of a good game of Scrabble.
The funeral service will be held at the Florida National Cemetery at 1pm on June 10th, 2025 at 6502 SW 102nd Avenue Bushnell, Florida. Evangelist Anthony Norman Sr will be officiating the service followed by the interment.
We would like to thank all of the staff at AdventHealth Connerton from the security guard to the charge nurses and everyone in between that cared for her with such compassion, dedication and love. They made her final days brighter.
