On Tuesday, December 29th, 2020 Elaine Carley, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, went to be with her Lord and Savior. Elaine was born on June 10th, 1950 in Eugene, OR to William and Ludmila Anderson. She grew up in Eugene and married the love of her life, David Carley on March 21, 1970. Together they raised 2 sons, Matthew and Andre, and 3 daughters, Angela, Mandy and Christina, while also fulfilling a mother role to many others along the way. They resided in Wasilla, AK from 1984 until their retirement in 2007. She spent the majority of that time working for Denali Gymnastics Academy. "She was a pillar. She was there from the foundation and helped in forming the shape and function of our service. the love she manifested for every person that needed help was brilliant." After retiring they spent several years traveling the county working at RV parks from the Oregon Coast to Bar Harbor, Maine and finally to Florida where they have been ever since.She loved her family more than anything. She enjoyed traveling and visiting her children in Colorado, Georgia, Texas, Idaho and Oregon and took great pleasure in watching her grandchildren grow up. She made it a point to attend as many of their activities as she could. She was known for her joyful personality and kind and loving spirit. Elaine is preceded in death by her parents and 4 of her siblings. She is survived by her husband Dave, her 5 children, Matthew (Luck) Carley, Angela (Clint) Phillips, Mandy (Joshua) Carlson, Christina (Michael) Griffith and Andre Carley, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. As well as her brothers Thomas and Timothy and her sisters Margaret and Tanya, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and a multitude of other family members. A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at New Walk Church, 35008 FL-54, Zephyrhills, FL 33541, at 11 am. Flowers may be sent to the church on Tuesday from 10am-2pm.
