BRININSTOOL, Elaine 83 of Zephyrhills, FL died on Tuesday, Oct 17, 2017 at her residence. Elaine was born in Lansing, MI to William & Mary Alice (Burch) McCaslin. Along with her husband Jim, they were winter residents of Zephyrhills for many years until becoming permanent residents in 2004, moving from Farwell, MI. She was a member of the Wesley Chapel Church of the Nazarene, enjoyed serving others as a volunteer with HPH Hospice for numerous year, and she and Jim were recognized several times by Hospice for their volunteer efforts. Elaine is survived by her husband of 63 years, Jim of Zephyrhills, FL, Daughters: Missy Ward of North Carolina, Kathy (Ken) Gilding of Ohio, Tammie (Keith) Kapanka of Michigan, 6 grandchildren and 2 great, grandchildren. Elaine was preceded in death by her siblings: Benny, Glen & Alan McCaslin and Dortha (McCaslin) Clark. A small service will be held at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd, Bushnell, FL, on Wednesday, Nov 1, 2017 at 2:00 pm. A memorial service will be held in Michigan on Saturday, Nov 11, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Eaton Rapids Church of the Nazarene (2225 S. Michigan Rd, Eaton Rapids, MI). The family will greet guests beginning at 10:00 a.m. A luncheon will be provided after the service.
