Edward Munro Covington III, of Dade City, FL passed away Friday , March 13, 2026. He was born July 18, 1955 in Dade city FL to Edward Munro Covington Jr. and Mary Ida (council) Covington. Both deceased. Munro was a proud army veteran. He enjoyed spear fishing, all kinds of music, a good cigar, but most of all laughing and spending time with his family. His wit and originality will be very missed.

Munro is survived by his 3 siblings, David B. Covington, Betsy Covington Puterbaugh and Claudia Covington Wrucha and numerous nephews and nieces.

A memorial service honoring Munro will be held 6:30pm Monday, March 23, 2026 at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City.
