Edward Cortes of Zephrhills, FL, age 91, died Friday 6/7/2013 at Gulfside Regional Hospice. Edward was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. He came to this area in 1987 from Hialeah and has lived here for 27 years. He is a US Navy Veteran and worked for the New York City Housing Authority. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church, Zephrhills. Edward was preceded in death by his wife, Carmen and daughter, Violet Cortes. Survivors include, daughters, Eileen Morello (Joseph) of Wellington, FL and Annie Georgens (Clem) of Greer, SC; grandchildren, Paul, Joseph, Annmarie, Yvonne, Kelly Ann, Jennifer, Tina and Danny and 18 great-grandchildren.
