Edward Joseph Bellnier of Auburn, New York passed away peacefully on July 15th at his home in Dade City, Florida, with the love of his life, Kathryn (Katie) Copley Bellnier by his side. He was eighty-four years old.
Ed was born on December 5, 1934 to Henry J. and Helen E. Nolan Bellnier. After attending East High School, he served his country in the United States Marine Corp in Korea (1952-1955). Eddie loved meeting new people and he never met a stranger who didnt quickly become his friend. He was engaging, witty and enjoyed thoughtful conversation. On special occasions, he would surprise everyone with a song at the piano. Eddie was a sports enthusiast, loved music and was an avid reader. This loving and caring man has left a permanent mark etched in our hearts and will forever be missed by his family.
To quote Papas favorite singer Frank Sinatra, "I would like to be remembered as a man who had a wonderful time living life, a man who had good friends, fine family - and I dont think I could ask for anything more than that, actually."
