OBRUBA, Edna Marie (Metts), 88, of Zephyrhills, Fl., entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 12th, 2023 at home with her family by her side. Edna was born on April 12, 1934, in West Virginia to parents, John and Leona Metts. She graduated from Elizabeth Forward High School, and after a long and dedicated career, she retired from her position as a bank teller. Edna is survived by her brother, Albert Raymond Metts (Harriett), Daughters, Cheryl Cole, and Eva Holland (Wayne), Step-Daughters, Janet Huston (Terry), Pam DeGeorge (Vinnie), and Diane Zello (Jim), Grandchildren, Robert Buchina, Cole Buchina, Alora Butler (Mark), Wayne Dean Holland, and Sarah Nichols, Step-Grandchildren, Jill DeGeorge, Shari DeGeorge, Kayleigh Bramhall (John), Chris Zello (Tessa) and Sammie Zello., and 11 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces great-nephews, and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, John and Leona Metts, husband Elmer O'Bruba, Brother Charles Metts, Sisters, Maggie Patterson, Millie Barger, and Eleanor Barkewich, and Lifetime Partner, Bernard Riggs. A Celebration of life service will be held to honor and celebrate her life on Wednesday, February 22nd, 2023 from 2-4 pm at Blue jay Mobile Home Park Pelican Hall.
