Edith Jewel (Berry) Kelso, 89, of San Antonio, Florida passed away Monday, December 6, 2021 peacefully at home with family. Edith was born in Edsel, Kentucky to Milton and Irene Berry. Edith was the Mother of 8 daughters, Diane Jester, Peggy Daigle, Joyce (Ken) Adkins, Ruth (James) Nimrod, Lisa (Bob) Guertin, Alice Carrel, Tina Kelso, and Ruby (Dan) Cumbo. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 41 years Joseph Oliver, her Mother and Father, three grandchildren, four sisters, one brother, and one son-in-law. She is survived by her 8 surviving children, 17 grandchildren, multiple great-grandchildren, a few great-great-grandchildren, and one brother. Edith loved driving her Red sporty Charger. When she was not out and about, she worked tirelessly in her large flower garden or playing and talking to her cats. Edith enjoyed listening to Bluegrass, Country, and Gospel music. She attended multiple concerts with her girls. The last concert was with her favorite musical group, The Booth Brothers. Edith loved to go to Tea Houses and had high tea with her daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
