Ferris, Edith Boyer, 71 of Zephyrhills, Florida passed away March 17, 2012 in Land O Lakes, Florida. She was born in Malone, New York to, Raymond and Ruth Boyer. She enjoyed teaching at Incarnation Catholic School in Tampa for several years. Her and her husband enjoyed traveling after retirement. She also enjoyed learning and teaching from the Bible. Survivors include her loving husband of 45 years; Rich; 2 sons; Daniel D. and Louis R; 2 brothers; Paul and Bruce Boyer; sister; Marilyn Dierdorff, and many nieces and nephews. A Visitation will take place at Hodges Family Funeral Home, Zephyrhills March 21, 2012 from 5:00 7:00 PM. A Mass will be held at St. Josephs Catholic Church, Zephyrhills on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at 11:00 AM with burial to follow at Florida National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Kidney Foundation or American Diabetes Foundation.
