Edith Lois DuPree, 98, of Dade City, Florida, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 5, 2019, in Lake Wales, Florida. Edith was born in Darby, Florida on August 22, 1921, to her loving parents, Fred and Emma McKendree. Edith was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her love for God and family was the legacy she leaves to all. Edith shared her love with many children as a bus driver and lunchroom worker with Pasco County schools. Edith was greeted in Heaven by her parents and nine siblings. Also, there were her husband, Lucian, and her two sons, Jimmy and Keith. Left to honor the memory of Edith is her son Ronnie (Neva), daughters-in-law Kitty and Sandy; her grandchildren Bev Antilley (Vic), Shonia Bailey (David), Kim Butaud (Wade), and Anthony DuPree; her great-grandchildren, Kathi Kapsner (Ryan), Ashley Antilley, Eric Bailey, Breyn Bailey, Hunter DuPree, and Holly DuPree; her great-great-grandchildren, Kaylan and Ava Kapsner; as well as many treasured nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. The family will receive family and friends for a time of visitation on Tuesday, October 8, 2019, from 1:00-2:00 PM. The memorial service will follow. The interment will be at Holton Ceremony. In lieu of flowers, we respectfully request donations be made to the rebuilding fund to Pasadena Baptist Church in Dade City, FL 33525.
