Eddie R. "Mickey" Drummonds 76, of Ridge Manor, FL passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2016 in Brooksville. He was born November 30, 1939 in Clairfield, TN to Thomas & Beatrice Hamblin Drummonds and moved to this area in 1982 from Georgia. Mickey was a US Army Veteran serving as a Combat Engineer and in the 82nd Air Borne Division. He was an avid golfer and fisherman. He was a retired General Contractor and attended the Church of God of Prophecy in Mascotte, FL. Mickey is survived by his wife of 30 years: Mary Drummonds; 2 children: Ronald & Audrey Drummonds, Michele R. & Ray Gasaway; 3 grandchildren: Gregory, Ashley and Michael Drummonds; 5 siblings: Jewell Hurst, Tony & Sue Drummonds, Vickie Lou & Eldon Higgenbotham, Brenda Sue & Delmar Campbell, Connie Ann & Marshall Dentmon; numerous nieces and nephews and his little dog Cody. The family will receive friends for viewing on Friday, April 8, 2016 from 4-6pm at the 5th Street Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City where a service will take place at 5pm. He will be interred at Hamblin Cemetery in Clairfield, TN. Visitation
