Eddie Cruz, 57, of Wesley Chapel, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. He was born on July 8, 1968, to Lewis Cruz and Mercades Gonzalez. Eddie was a loving and devoted man who cared deeply for those around him. He worked hard and always aimed to do his best in everything. Eddie was generous, often helping others even when he had little himself. He gave his life to the Lord at Life Church over four years ago and remained faithful ever since. Eddie was always ready to lend a hand and will be deeply missed. He is survived by his beloved life partner, Denise; his father, Lewis, in Puerto Rico; his mother, Mercades; his sister, Christina; other siblings and family members; and his nieces and nephews.
