Jackson, E. Glen, 76 of Dade City, passed away Friday, May 30, 2014 in Lakeland. He was born October 21, 1937 in Carthage, MS to John Emmett & Dallye Wooten Jackson. Glen loved the outdoors and teaching others the ways of hunting and fishing. He graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi, attended Ohio State University and received his Masters Degree from USF. He served in the US Army Reserves and was a retired Pasco County School Administrator. He is survived by his wife of 55 years: Sammye Jackson; 2 children: Samira (Marc) Goldman, Jon (Vanessa) Jackson; and 4 grandchildren: Carter & Tori Jackson, Zachary & Emma Goldman. Funeral services will be held at 2pm Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the 5th Street Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Floral Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:30pm till service time at the funeral home on Saturday. Kyle Way, Lake City, FL 32025 to help serve the community and the world in the name of Jesus.
