Duane H. Edwards, Sr. 86, of Dade City, FL passed away Sunday, November 19th, 2023. He was born April 3, 1937, in Menominee, MI to James & Helen Fait Edwards and was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He owned and operated several businesses including Veteran's Auto Salvage and Veteran's Radiator Services. He also worked as a Real Estate Agent. He was highly involved in his community and active with the Dade City V.F.W., the American Legion, the Dade City Moose Lodge and the Dade City Eagles FOE.

Duane is survived by his wife of 44 years: Delores "Dee" Edwards; 5 children: Debbie Edwards Powell, Kim Griffin (Jason), Duane Edwards Jr, Darrell Edwards (Christine), Dawn Wiggins; 4 siblings: Gary Edwards (Kathy), Judie Mayou (Art), Larry Edwards (Tom), Marcia LaCanne (Butch); 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by 2 wives: Sharon & Jackie; his parents: James & Helen Edwards; and 2 brothers: Dale Edwards and Jimmy Edwards.

A Celebration of his Life will be held 2pm Saturday, December 2nd, 2023, at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City.

He was passionate about all areas of his life including his time spent fishing, NASCAR, and cheering on his Green Bay Packers. He was also known to pick up a microphone at karaoke and belt out Frank Sinatra's "I did it my Way".
