Dorothy June Ralston Sharrock was born in Baghdad, Iraq and lived in Egypt as a young girl. Her family was evacuated to South Africa during the Second World War, She married Graham Ralston in 1956 and raised three children in Rhodesia until the family relocated to the United States in 1989. Graham passed that year and she returned to South Africa to take up residence in Cape Town. In 1998 she relocated to Arizona and then settled in Florida for her remaining years close to her children and grandchildren. She suffered over 40 years with Scleroderma and fought a brave fight through those years with a crippling disease. She is survived by her children Venessa (and Allen) Bosma of Ashland, OR, Cheryl (and Barry) Ambrose of Dade City, FL, and Craig (and Robin) Ralston of Prescott, AZ. Grandchildren Daniel Coleman of Portland, OR, Anika Ralston of Ashland, OR, Stephanie (and Josh) Gladura of Dade City, FL, Sarah Ambrose of Dade City, FL, Nathan Ambrose of Dade City, FL, Ollivia Ralston of Prescott, AZ, Evan Ralston of Prescott, AZ, and great-granddaughter Millie Gladura of Dade City, FL. A fight well fought. A race now complete. At peace and forever in our hearts.
