Dorothy Mae Chancey Fleming, 86, of Zephyrhills, Florida passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2015. She was born on November 3, 1928 in Hillsborough County, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers, a sister, and one son. She is survived by her children, Joyce Vanderbrink (Charles); Roy Chancey; Rita Fleming (George); two sisters, Bertha Eady and Mary Fuller; two brothers, Fred Chancey (Rosemary) and James Chancey (JoAnn); granddaughters Lorri Blommel (David) and Karen Ellis (Allen); grandsons David Huff (Pricilla), Josh Mulkey, Bobby Chancey, Jr.; great grandchildren Kelli Jarrett (Jeremiah); Michael Blommel; Brett Blommel; Heather Ellis (Joey); Allen Ellis; Damian Huff; Madison Huff; two great-great grandsons Gage Koehler and Jacob Jarrett. Other survivors include step-children, step-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was very active and enjoyed her children and grand and great and great-great grand children. She loved working outside in the yard tending to foliage and plants, camping, and visiting the mountains of Georgia. There will be a viewing at 2 p.m. followed by a service at 3 p.m. on Monday, March 2, 2015 at Hodges Funeral Home in Zephyrhills, Florida. A short service will follow at Geiger Cemetery. The family requested in lieu of flowers to donate to the HPH Hospice, Dade City, Florida. Hodges Family Funeral Home 54 chapel in charge of arrangements.
