Cook, Dorothy J. (Smith), 95 of Zephyrhills, FL passed away peacefully at her home December 14, 2014. She is survived by her sister, Mary Rutledge; sons: Ronald (Gail) and Richard (Kathleen), daughters: Jane Huff (Bob) and Charlotte Cook (Ray Butler); 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson and several nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Frederick; parents, Earl and Charlotte Smith; and brothers: Russell and Duane Smith. She was a founding member of St. Johns United Methodist Church of Royal Oak, MI. The family then moved to Shelby Township, MI in 1959. They also lived in Davisburg, MI for 12 years and moved to Zephyrhills, FL in 1990. No services are planned.
