Dorothy P. Bibby, 96, of Spanish Trails Senior Village (Zephyrhills, FL) and formerly of Plover, WI passed away Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Gulfside Center for Hospice Care Zephyrhills FL. She was born November 21, 1920 at Almond, WI to Floyd and Lena (Kirsenlohr) Parsons. She married Leonard J. Bibby of Plover, WI (Buena Vista Township) on February 11, 1939, where they engaged in dairy farming; then raising potatoes until moving to Florida in 1976. Dorothy enjoyed having her relatives visit her and spending time with her friends in Spanish Trails Senior Village. Before the last couple years, she enjoyed maintaining her home, walking, swimming, card playing, bingo, shuffle board and helping others with their sewing projects. The last few years, she enjoyed card playing, bingo, and weekly trips to Hard Rock Casino with her dear friends Del & Mary Wood.

She is survived by nephews: Walter Parsons Jr. (Dottie), Fond du Lac, WI and Alvin Bibby (Arlene), Stevens Point, WI; niece: Pauline Bibby Warner (Jack), Fox Lake, WI; and several grand nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her Florida family of the residents of Spanish Trails Senior Village, especially the two persons that made it possible for her to continue living on her own: Barry Wood and Debbie DePotsie.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband (1997), 2 brothers (Walter Sr & Harvey Parsons) and nieces (Nancy Parsons Roloff), Racine, WI and Beth Bibby Molski, Stevens Point, WI. Visitation will be Monday, January 30 at 10:00 AM and service at 12:00 PM at the Hodges Family Funeral Home, US Hwy 301 Dade City. Burial will be in a mausoleum in Chapel Hills Gardens, Dade City adjacent to the funeral home. Family and guests are invited for lunch at the Club House at Spanish Trails Senior Village. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established for Gulfside Center for Hospice Care Zephyrhills, FL.
