Doris Barnett 86, of Zephyrhills, FL passed away Monday, December 31, 2018. She was born April 22, 1932 in Jarretsville, MD to Paul & Ima Belle Quesenberry Mink. She was baptized a Jehovah's Witness and was a member of the Dade City Congregation. She served as treasurer of the Starduster's Bowling League and was the recipient of the Dade City Chamber of Commerce's Friendly Floridian Award. Doris is survived by 4 children: John Albert "Jack" Barnett III, Ronald James Barnett, Amy Suzette & Paul Chappell, Tamara Ellen & Juan Diaz; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband: John A. Barnett, Jr. and 2 children: Michael Scott Barnett, Linda Jean Ashmore and her husband Walt. A memorial service will be held 11am Friday, January 4, 2019 at the 54 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home in Zephyrhills. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either Gulfside Hospice (ghppc.org) or the Alzheimer's Association (adrccares.org).
