Dorien Ernesta Grant of Zephyrhills, FL age 77, entered peacefully into eternal rest on Sunday, April 21, 2024. She was born December 20, 1946 in Barbados to the late Arthur and Cynthia Grant. Dorien grew up on the beautiful island of Barbados where she worked as an elementary school teacher after high school graduation. She had two children and then emigrated to the USA. She first lived in Queens, New York, retired from the US Postal Service and relocated to Zephyrhills, Florida. Dorien adored her family and demonstrated that love by preparing a heartfelt lunch every Sunday. She appreciated her visitors and made every holiday a special occasion. Her family and friends will never forget her beautiful smile, her encouraging words, her straight forwardness and her elegant sense of style. Her legacy of faith, generosity and sincere family adoration will be greatly missed and forever cherished.
