Lifes journey Mr. Donnie Gene Sikes...Mr. Donnie Gene Sikes was born January 29,1955 to the union of the late Edward Gene Sikes and Clara Inez Sikes in Clermont, Florida. Donnie will be missed by all who knew him and loved him he loved to spend his time with family and friends. Donnie was preceded in death by his father Edward Gene Sikes, his mother Clara Inez Sikes, his brothers Jerry Sikes, Charles Sikes, Jimmy Sikes, Ronnie Sikes and sister Robbie Franklin as well as a very special young man Jimmy Hendricks. On Monday December 3, 2018 God closed Donnie's loving eyes and called him to eternal rest. He is survived by his loving and devoted daughters: Tammy Sikes, Amy Lee (Taurus), Donna Knotts (James). His grandchildren: Chaston Gold, Chet Parker, Cynthia Tanaka, Nevaeh Holloman, Denasia Lee, Darion Mings, Joyce Lee, Whittany Knotts, and Haylie Knotts. His great grandchildren: Easton Gold, Savanah Smith, and Aaliyah Rodgers. He also leaves his cherished live-in friend and caregiver Margaret Fisher. He also leaves a very special nephew who is more like a son Jason Sikes (Tammy) as well as a close friend of many years Brenda Colleen Rogers a very special sister-n-law Roxanne Sikes as well as a two sisters Freada Moats (Rudolph), Peggy Hendrix (John) three brothers Ricky Sikes, Joe Sikes (Lisa), Billy Sikes.and a host of nieces, nephews and other sorrowing friends.There will be a visitation from 5-6 pm on Thursday December 6, 2018 with the funeral service starting at 6pm.
