Donna Lee Aho 69, of Brooksville, FL passed away Sunday, June 19, 2016. She was born August 17, 1946 in Boston, MA to Lewis R. & Lela Margaret Raymond MacLeod. She retired from the Mental Health Industry and was a U.S. Navy Veteran. Donna worked for the Polaroid Corporation for 23 years then retired at the age of 41 to Florida with her husband, the late Francis Jack Aho. She was the Executive Director of the Florida Psychoanalytic Society until she retired in 2004 after moving to Brooksville, FL. Possessing a true servants heart, whether it was starting a homeless shelter in Boston, to making her famous lasagna for families in need, her contagious smile won the trust and hearts of many who even now are being changed by her constant nurturing love and faith. But Donna's true passion and delight was her family. She is survived by her mother, Lela M. MacLeod; daughter, Cheri A. (Joseph) Lee; sister, Cheri Wade; brother, Bruce (Mary Lou) MacLeod; grandchildren: Jordan, Alexis, Rebecca, Lauren, Isaiah; three nieces, one nephew and several step-children. She was preceded in death by her father, Lewis R. MacLeod, and her husband, Francis Jack Aho. Services will be held 11am Friday, June 24, 2016 at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home, 11441 Hwy 301 in Dade City. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Donna's memory to the Stevens-Johnson Syndrome Foundation.
