Donald Wayne Kirkley of Dade City passed away on February 20th, 2022. He was born in Eastman Georgia in 1949, to Colleen and Freeman Kirkley. A long-time resident of Dade City, Don spent much of his life behind the camera capturing memories for others as a professional photographer at Kirkleys Photoworks. He was an award-winning member of local, state, and national photography guilds. He had a passion for motorcycles, RC planes, and scuba diving. Don was a proud father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family. Don was a lover of Star Wars, trips to Disney with his wife Becky, and planning scavenger hunts for his grandson. Don and Becky proudly celebrated 53 years of marriage in December. He is preceded in death by his mother Colleen and father Freeman. Don is survived by his beloved wife Rebecca Kirkley. He is also survived by his son Brian Kirkley and grandson Aiden Kirkley. The family will receive visitors on Monday, February 28th from 5-7 pm at the Hodges Funeral Home in Dade City, FL. A memorial service will be held on March 1st at 2 pm, also at Hodges Funeral Home.
