Donald R. Hough, Sr., 85, of Zephyrhills, Florida, transitioned into Heaven on September 19, 2018, at his home surrounded by family. He was born May 18, 1933, in Lebanon, Ohio. He is the son of William A. Hough and Elizabeth Ledford. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Constance J. Hough, of 62 years. Don and Connie brought their family to Zephyrhills in 1975 from Chillicothe, Ohio. Don was a committed husband and Dad, a devoted Christian and steadfast prayer warrior. He was a member and Deacon of the First Baptist Church in Zephyrhills. Don served the Lord in various ways throughout his life which involved working with the mentally retarded and foster parenting. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He is survived by his two sons, three daughters, twelve grandchildren, eight great- grandchildren, a sister in Clermont and over 350 precious foster children. He was preceded in death by one sister. He was ready and anxious to meet his Lord and Savior. A Celebration of life will be held in early October for family and friends.
