Dinah Gay Martin, 77, of Dade City, Florida, passed away on April 9, 2026, in Dade City. She was born on December 13, 1948, in Martin, Kentucky, to Theodore G. Storie and Sarah Ellen Stumbo. Dinah was united in marriage to James D. Martin on May 17, 1969, in Catlettsburg, Kentucky. Together they built a life centered around family, love, and simple joys. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She had a creative spirit and found great joy in crafts, especially macramé and stained glass. Dinah was also proud to be the spouse of a military veteran, a role she carried with quiet strength and support. She is survived by her loving husband, James D. Martin; her son, Erich Todd Martin (Lori); and her cherished grandchildren, Piper Martin, Sophie Martin, Phoebe Martin, and Wyatt Martin. She is also survived by her brother, Theodore G. Storie Jr., and several nieces and nephews, including Rebecca Johnson Clere, Casey Johnson, Erin Storie Elliott, and Allison Storie Frederick. She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore G. Storie Sr. and Sarah Ellen Stumbo; her grandchild, Peyton Bemis Martin; her sister, Doris Rhodora Storie Johnson; and relatives Grant Johnson and Sue Ellen Johnson.
