Diana Lynn Gross

Diana Lynn Gross, age 78, of Zephyrhills, Florida, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 17, 2025, in Lakeland, Florida.

Diana Gross was born on May 6, 1947, in Alliance, Ohio, she was the beloved daughter of the late Harry Henry Gross and Nadine Ruth Gross. She graduated from Marlington High School in 1965 and was known for her strong family values, loving heart, and unwavering faith.

Diana moved from Alliance, Ohio in 1977 to Texas, where she lived in Crowley and Denton. In 2012 she moved to Florida, after retiring from Ramey King Insurance Company in 2008. Diana Enjoyed spending time with her family, reading and going to yard sales.

Diana is survived by her devoted daughter, Rebecca Sue Kunkle (Daniel) of Bushnell, FL, and her six cherished grandchildren: Brandon Christopher Myrmel (Courtney) of Duncan, OK; Patricia Diane Vinson (Sam) of Irving, TX; Marina Myrmel of Marathon, FL; Miranda Nicole McMicken (Josh) of LeRaysville, PA; Tiffany Underdown and Ashlee Underdown, both of Zephyrhills, FL. She was a proud great-grandmother to 14 great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings: Cornelia Ann Whatley (Ed), Christina Sue Gross, Keith Woodward Gross (Ora), Kirk Dennis Gross (Kimberly), and Dana Walters Gross (Karole), along with many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Diana was preceded in death by her parents and her eldest daughter, Elizabeth Joan (Hand) Meek, who passed away on October 5, 2006.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Redemption Church of Dade City, 17351 Hyland Rd, Dade City, FL 33523. Service will begin at 5:30 p.m., with a reception to follow.
