Allen, Deborah Sue "Debbie", 68, of Crystal Springs, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2019. She attended Victory Church in Lakeland. Debbie worked as a Marine Operator for GTE for many years and continued when the company was taken over by Verizon. She then worked in the Home Health Care Industry until 2016. She enjoyed swimming, biking, walking, and all outdoor activities. Debbie loved her cats, flowers, and candles and was a strong Prayer Warrior. Debbie enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her partner, Bill Trueblood; 4 children, Cynthia Kates and husband Robbie, Dana Derkacz and husband Mike, Ryan Loflin, and Tiffany Loflin; step sons, Travis and Blake Trueblood; 11 grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Madeline, Alex, Andrew, David, Raelyn, Tiyana, Jace, Delvin, and London; sister Judy Law; and brother, George Merkel. Family will receive friends on Saturday, June 22 from 10 am until service time at 11 am at Hodges Family Funeral Home, 36327 Highway 54, Zephyrhills, FL 33541.
