It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Dawn Marie Marquis, of Wesley Chapel, Florida, on November 29, 2023. Born on April 3, 1972 in Danbury, Connecticut, Dawn was a resident of Brookfield, Connecticut before moving to Florida in 1982. She is survived by her life partner, William Maxson, brothers and sisters, Kenneth R. Marquis, David W. Marquis, Stephen P. Marquis, Renee Marquis-Abrams, and Janine S. Hilton, nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews. Dawn was preceded in death by her loving parents, Raymond L. Marquis and Jeanette M. Marquis, and sister, Cindy Marquis. Dawn loved animals, particularly her dogs, Diesel, Boots, and Theo, and cats, Cole, Midnight, Stewie, and Little Bit. She also enjoyed bingo, slots, yard sales, and laughing with family and friends. Dawn will be deeply missed and forever loved by her family and friends. Her funeral mass will be held at 11:30am on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at St. Ignatius of Antioch Catholic Church, 715 E. Orange Street, Tarpon Springs, Florida, followed by a reception to celebrate Dawn's life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or ASPCA, in memory of Dawn.
